Finding a great beauty product always makes me smile, and these days, I will take all the smiles I can get. My days are usually very busy (even during isolation) that unfortunately I don’t have much time to dedicate to an extensive beauty regime. I always look for great products that I can put on my skin quickly and that makes a difference. I have never liked creams that are heavy and make my skin feel really greasy and I also have quite sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with what I put on it. I much prefer creams that are light and absorb quickly so that when I put on make-up, my skin still feels clean and fresh.
I also prefer products that are fragrance-free as some of the smells are overwhelming. Over the years, I have tried a lot of different products so I can tell quite quickly if a cream or serum is going to work for my skin or not. For me, eye creams or eye gels are essential, and it’s amazing that if you find one that’s right for you, it can make a huge difference in brightening up your face and making you look rested.
My daily facial beauty regime consists of a cleanser, vitamin c cream or serum, eye cream or gel, moisturizer, and SPF. I will also exfoliate every few days and love how it makes my skin feel so clean and radiant. For me, it’s not always necessary to splurge on designer beauty products but rather it’s easy to find great products in your local drug store or chemist that work just as well, and with the affordable prices, there is no guilt in using them a lot and often. Here are my latest drug store beauty products that are making me smile…
